About the Guide

Why this exists and how it works

Back to Sproochentest

I built this during my own Sproochentest preparation. After months of language courses, the last stretch before the exam needed something different — not more grammar, but focused practice on exactly what the test asks. I couldn't find a single resource that brought speaking topics, image description, listening exercises, and vocabulary drills together. So I made one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this an official INLL resource?

No. This is an independent study guide created by a fellow test-taker. Practice questions are curated from community-shared experiences, not from official exam papers.

Does this replace language courses?

No. This is a final-month prep guide. It assumes you've already been learning Luxembourgish through courses or conversation. Think of it as exam prep, not a course.

Where does the pronunciation audio come from?

All audio is generated using Sproochmaschinn.lu, an open Luxembourgish text-to-speech engine by the Zenter fir d'Lëtzebuerger Sprooch.

Where can I verify word spellings?

LOD (Lëtzebuerger Online Dictionnaire) is the reference dictionary for Luxembourgish.

Is this free?

Yes. All content is fully free — speaking topics, listening exercises, vocabulary engine, and downloadable materials.

How was this built?

The entire platform — vocabulary engine, audio pipeline, quizzes, spaced repetition — was built using Kiro, an AI-powered development environment.

Who made this?

Hasan Jaffal — a Luxembourg-based professional who passed the Sproochentest and wanted to help others prepare. More at hasanjaffal.com.
