ABOUT

Hasan Jaffal.

I work at the intersection of data, AI, and operations.

My current focus is theft detection, fraud analytics, and loss prevention in complex supply chain environments. I am interested in how organizations detect risk earlier, reduce avoidable loss, and make better operational decisions using data.

The problem I focus on

Most analytics work fails for a simple reason: it stops at reporting.

A dashboard can show what happened. It does not guarantee action. It does not assign ownership. It does not decide which signal matters, which risk should be escalated, or which operational behavior needs to change.

That is the space I write about.

Areas of focus

  • Theft and fraud signals
  • Loss prevention analytics
  • Risk detection
  • AI in operational decision-making
  • Supply chain abuse patterns
  • Analytics leadership
  • The gap between insight and action

My goal is to help operators, analysts, and leaders think more clearly about how data works in real environments.

Not in theory. In operations, where signals are messy, incentives matter, and decisions have consequences.
